In order to save energy and protect our environment, lead the household electrical appliances industry to the direction of being environment friendly, the energy-saving products, which meet the relevant requirements, and the products having eliminating interference to the environment may apply for the environmental mark. China Environmental Labelling Products Certification Committee authorized GTIHEA to perform testing for the environmental labelling certification for air-conditioners, refrigeration appliances, microwave ovens, washing machines, luminaries and toys.

Technical Requirements of Environmental Labelling Products

Refrigeration Appliances

Basic Requirement

1. The performance of the products should meet the requirements of GB/T8059.1 –1995, GB/T8059.2 – 1995, GB/T8059.3 – 1995 and GB/T8059.4-1995.

2. The safety and performance of the products should meet the requirements of GB4706.1 – 92, GB4706.13 – 1998.

3. The discharge of the pollutant should meet the requirements of national and regional standards.

Technical requirement

1. CFCs materials should not be used as refrigerant.

2. CFCs materials should not be used as foaming agent.

3. The products should meet the requirements of GB4343 – 1995.

4. Power consumption of the products should meet the requirements of Annex E of GB/T8059.1-2 and the Class A and Class B consumption rate requirements requested in Annex D of GB/8059.3 – 4.

5. No obviously noise causing while the refrigerator is running. The acoustic power level of the noise cannot exceed 44dB(A).

Energy-Saving Fluorescent Lamps

Basic Requirement

1. The quality of the product should meet the requirements of GB15143-1994, GB/T15144-1994 and ZBK71003-1989.

2. The discharge of the pollutant should meet the requirements of national and regional standards.

Technical Requirement

1. The circuit power factor of self-ballast fluorescent lamp and the semi-luminaries with single capped fluorescent lamp should meet the requirements of GB/T15144, the high power factorλ≥ 0.85.

2. The light flux of self-ballast fluorescent lamps and the single capped fluorescent lamps should meet the requirements of Annex A.

3. The life of self-ballast fluorescent lamps and the single capped fluorescent lamps should be not less than 6,000 hours.

4. The mercury content of self-ballast fluorescent lamps and single capped fluorescent lamp should ≤10mg.

Energy-Saving Electronic Ballasts

Basic Requirement

1. The quality of the product should meet the requirements of GB15143-1994 and GB/T15144.

2. The discharge of the pollutant should meet the requirements of national and regional standards.

Technical Requirement

1. The circuit power factor of independent type electronic ballast should be λ≥ 0.95.

2. The harmonic wave in power supply current of independent type electronic ballast should less than the limits requested in Annex A of GB/T15144.

3. The life of the independent type electronic ballasts should be not less than 10000h.

4. The discharge of the pollutant should meet the requirements of national and regional standards.

Low Noise Washing Machines

Basic Requirements

1. The products should meet the requirements of GB4288-92.

2. The safety and the performance of the products should meet the requirements of GB4706.23 – 91 and GB4706.26 – 1991.

3. The discharge of the pollutant should meet the requirements of national and regional standards.

Technical condition

1. The acoustics power level under working condition (washing, extracting) should not exceed the following noise value:

Energy-Saving, Low Noise Room Air Conditioner

Basic Requirements

1. The products should meet the requirements of GB/T7725-1998.

2. The safety and the performance of the products should meet the requirements of GB4706.32- 1996.

3. The discharge of the pollutant should meet the requirements of national and regional standards.

Technical condition

Household Use Micro-Wave Oven

Basic Requirements

1. The quality and performance of the product should meet the requirements of GB 4706.21-1996 besides meeting the normal micro-wave power density leakage requirements.

2. The discharge of the pollutant should meet the requirements of national and regional standards.

Technical condition

The design and production of the appliance should be guaranteed to be safe during normal use. The micro-wave power density of any points 5 cm from the appearance of the appliance should not exceed 10 w/m2.
